I’m not a big fan of having big plans for New Year’s Eve, but I am a big fan of making something that feels fancy and a little celebratory. This pasta al limone fits the bill. It’s as special as it is easy and only requires 3 main ingredients. I think it’s best made with fresh pasta, so if you’re in the mood, I’ve included a full recipe and tutorial below. And if you're not, it’s still worth making with your favorite dried pasta.

Before we move onto the recipe, I just want to say thank you so much for being here this year!

I learned so much in 2025 about how to use this platform to produce content that actually enhances my readers’ skills in the kitchen. My goal with this newsletter is to write recipes that not only produce delicious dishes, but actually teach you how to level up your cooking. I’ve grown as a writer and recipe developer with the ultimate goal of providing the best possible product for you. With that, I’ve spent many, many hours in the kitchen and behind my computer to produce my weekly letter — one that now several thousand people read, but only a small percentage pay for. The beauty of this platform is that it allows me to be compensated for my work without bombarding the reader with ads. If you’ve enjoyed these emails or have reproduced my recipes, I encourage you to consider becoming a paid subscriber. The $5 per month goes a long way in supporting a project that, I hope, has served and will continue to serve for years to come.
